Ruby

I’ve had Ruby since he was just 5 weeks old, and we were blessed to share 8 beautiful years together. From the moment he came into my life, he became so much more than a pet. He was family, my little companion, and one of my best friends.

Ruby was the gentlest of souls, always so sweet and kind to everyone he met. He had the simplest joys in life: his favorite treats, playing with his stack cups, chewing up cardboard boxes just for fun, and, most importantly, spending time playing with his best friend, Nash.

I find comfort in knowing that Nash was there waiting to greet you at the Rainbow Bridge, just as I know you would have been there waiting for him. It brings me a little peace knowing you two are together again, running, playing, and enjoying all the things you loved so much. And now, you’ll get to celebrate Nash’s birthday together on Tuesday, just like old times.

Although my heart is broken and the house feels a little emptier without you, I’m so grateful for every moment, every little hop, every bit of mischief, and every memory you gave me over these past 8 years.

You may no longer be here for me to hold, but you will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for 8 wonderful years, my sweet boy. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐰❤️ we will miss & love always
